Rentility classifies property types in 2 ways; the structure of the property and the length of stay.
An
Apt/Condo (Apartment/Condominium) is a non detached residential property that a renter would be the only tenant in. For example, if you own a 3 bedroom apartment and want to rent out the entire unit, that would be classified as an
Apt/Condo. However if you want to rent out only 1 bedroom out of 3 total bedrooms, this type of property would be classified as a
Room/Share/Couch.
An
Apt/Condo is also a property that a renter would lease for a longer term, typically 1 year but as little as 6 months. If a property fulfills the structural requirements for an
Apt/Condo (see above) but the lease term is only for 3 months, this type of property would be classified as
Vacation/Sublet/Temp.
